Paleo Bake N' Break Trail Mix Recipe

This paleo bake n' break trail mix recipe is simple and delicious! Eat on its own, add to your smoothie bowl, or enjoy atop your favorite chia pudding.

  • 2 Tbsp ghee or grass-fed butter
  • 1/2 c honey
  • 1 c almond flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 Davidson's Safest Choice® pasteurized egg(s)
  • 1/2 c dried cranberries
  • 1 1/2 c chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c sesame seeds


  1. Cream ghee & slowly add honey until blended.
  2. Mix in flour, salt, and cinnamon. Blend in egg. Add cranberries, pecans, and sesame seeds.
  3. Spread mixture out on cookie sheet and bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Invert mixture onto cutting board. Cut into portions or allow to harden and break into pieces.


Mix it up by adding in dates, apricots, raisins, walnuts, almonds, or pistachios.
