Paleo Pretzels with Zesty Paleo Ranch Dip Recipe

Paleo Preztels


  • 1 c almond flour/meal
  • 1/2 c tapioca flour/starch
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp coarse sea salt, plus more for topping
  • 3 Davidson's Safest Choice® pasteurized egg(s)
  • 2 Tbsp ghee or grass-fed butter, melted
  • 3 Tbsp coconut flour


  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Combine almond flour, tapioca flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Beat 2 eggs and add to dry ingredients. Add ghee and mix until dough just starts to come together.
  4. Add coconut flour one tablespoon at a time and mix with hands until dough forms. Let sit for 5 minutes. If dough is still wet, add another tablespoon of coconut flour.
  5. Cut dough into four equal parts. Roll each part into 10-inch log. Twist each into pretzel shape and place on baking sheet. Prepare an egg wash and lightly brush onto each pretzel. Sprinkle with salt.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and increase oven temperature to 400º F. Bake pretzels an additional 5 minutes.

Zesty Paleo Ranch Dip

  • 1 c paleo mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  1. Whisk paleo mayonnaise, dill, chives, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper until dip comes together.
  2. Serve with paleo pretzels
